Contact Luminosit
Luminosit is a small, independent, ad-supported site — there is no call centre and no ticket queue, but a real person reads what comes in to support@luminosit.com.
A few things this address is genuinely useful for: a calculator that gave you a result you think is wrong (say which tool — the lumens ↔ lux calculator, watts to lumens calculator, room lighting calculator, candela ↔ lumens calculator, lux at distance calculator, or LED savings calculator— and the numbers you entered); a tool or a lighting topic you wish the site covered; an out-of-date fact or broken link in the blog, learn section, or the Museum of Light; or a bug in how a page looks or behaves on your device.
There’s no fixed response time to promise, and no live chat — email is read and handled as it comes in. If your question is really about wiring, a fixed installation, or a lighting standard your project has to meet, a qualified electrician or lighting engineer who can see the job will give a far better answer than this site can. Luminosit’s tools produce educational estimates, not professional electrical or engineering advice, and the site isn’t affiliated with any bulb, fixture, or lighting brand.
Before writing in about a tool result, it’s worth double-checking the figures you entered — a units mix-up between lumens and lux, a beam angle in the wrong box, or an area measured in feet instead of metres is the most common source of a surprising answer. If it still looks wrong after that, that’s exactly the kind of message worth sending.
